La nostra storia

About iVino

iVino seeks out small and medium-sized Italian producers who make wine with quality, tradition and the environment in mind. We believe long tradition creates wines that last — wines that are not swayed by whatever happens to be fashionable right now.

Craft at every step

A vine takes a long time to go from a fresh plant to a fully producing cane. Hand-picked grapes in small crates, sorting, gentle pressing — each step costs time or money, and each step adds quality in the bottle. That is how wines that keep for years are made.

Local grapes, local character

We prioritise grapes traditionally grown in their own region: Aglianico, Fiano and Greco di Tufo in Irpinia in Campania, Montepulciano and Pecorino in Abruzzo, Moscato Giallo in Trentino. When a grape stands where it belongs, the wine is true to its place.

A route to Sweden

Many outstanding small producers have almost no way of reaching the Swedish market on their own. That is where we come in — we evaluate, rate and import the wines we believe in.

Magical Molise

Marino Petrillo — Tibro

Magical Molise brings Italian delicacies from the Molise region to Sweden — cheese and charcuterie, olive oil and truffle, pasta, tomatoes and sauces from small producers in perhaps Italy's least known region. Marino Petrillo moved to Sweden in 2008 and runs the business with the same idea as we do: quality before quantity, and produce that tastes of its place.

Together with Magical Molise we can put together food and wine that belong together — Italian artisan food with our Italian artisan wines.
