Italian wine importer and wholesaler for restaurants and wine bars
iVino is a Swedish wine importer and wholesaler bringing in wines from small and mid-sized Italian family producers — winemakers who champion native grape varieties, traditional growing methods and a style of winemaking that reflects the place it comes from.

La nostra filosofia
Wine that tastes of its place
We seek out small and mid-sized family producers across Italy — winemakers who work close to their local tradition, with respect for origin, grape varieties, landscape and craft. These are wines that do not try to resemble anything else. They taste of the soil they grew in, of the climate, of the hands that harvested them. That is how honest Italian wine should taste.

I produttori
Our selection of small and mid-sized producers
We choose producers we have visited ourselves, shared dinner with and come to know. People who care for their vineyard, their village and their way of making wine. It shows — both in the bottle and in the story behind it.
Small family producers
We work with estates where the owner is out among the vines. Generations of knowledge, not industrial scale.
Rooted in their region
Producers who grow in their own region, with grapes that belong there. No shortcuts, no cosmopolitan house style.
Craft at every step
Hand-picked grapes in small crates, slow fermentation and patient ageing. Wine that takes the time it needs.

La pergola abruzzese
Pergola Abruzzese — shade, shelter and tradition
The Pergola Abruzzese is Abruzzo's own training system: the vines are led up onto a horizontal canopy of timber and wire, carried by posts. The foliage shades the grapes through the intense summer sun, air circulates freely between the bunches and ripening becomes long and even — particularly important for Montepulciano and Trebbiano d'Abruzzo.
The method demands more handwork than modern trellis systems, but yields grapes with depth, balance and a clear identity. In Abruzzo there is an ongoing effort to have the Pergola Abruzzese recognised by UNESCO as part of the intangible cultural heritage of humanity — proof that it is a living tradition worth preserving.
01
Native grapes
Montepulciano, Trebbiano, Pecorino, Aglianico, Fiano — grapes that belong where they are grown.
02
Tradition
Pergola, alberello and guyot — methods adapted to the soil, not the other way around.
03
Craft
Hand harvesting, gentle pressing, natural fermentation. Time is an ingredient.
04
Place
Every bottle carries its landscape — the hills, the sea breeze, the volcanic soil.
Perché autentico
Why our wines taste of more
When the grape ripens in its rightful climate, is picked by hand and cared for by someone who truly minds — something happens in the glass. The wine becomes more than a drink. It becomes a place, a vintage, an expression.
- ·
Character over conformity
Grapes and methods suited to the region give wines with a clear identity — not an international template.
- ·
Cleaner taste, longer life
Slow production and minimal intervention give wines that age gracefully and express the vintage honestly.
- ·
A story worth sharing
Behind every bottle there is a family, a village and a landscape. You taste it, and you feel it at the table.

Vino italiano
Italian wine with origin — how we think
Italian wine is not one flavour but twenty regions with entirely different conditions. The same grape can give a cool, crisp wine in an alpine valley and a ripe, spicy wine on volcanic soil in the south. That is why our selection is less about labels and more about place: who grows it, in which soil, and what remains in the glass.
We work with small family producers in Abruzzo, Irpinia and Trentino — regions where native varieties still dominate. That gives wines such as Montepulciano, Pecorino, Aglianico and Greco di Tufo rather than international standards.
If you want to understand what you are drinking, start with the grape guides — where we cover flavour profile, food pairings and serving temperature for every grape we import. The full range is under our wines.
Importo
Wine wholesale and importer for restaurants
As an Italian wine importer we handle the whole chain from vineyard to glass: we select the producers on the ground in Italy, manage purchasing, transport, customs and excise duty, and store the wines in our own bonded warehouse in Sweden. That lets restaurants, wine bars and hospitality businesses order wines from small producers without importing themselves.
How to become a customer: get in touch with your company registration number and serving licence, and you will receive a price list and quote. We are happy to arrange a tasting at your venue or online, you choose your range, and then you order directly from us.
Delivery: we deliver to restaurants, wine bars and businesses across Sweden — Stockholm, Gothenburg, Malmö and everywhere in between. Wholesale price per bottle and mixed cases are fine; contact us for current delivery and payment terms.
